As the 2023-2024 school year draws to a close, there’s much to celebrate as a school community.

It seems like May has come very quickly this year! We’ve experienced some nice weather days, which always remind me of the hope that blooms in the spring.

We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. -Maya Angelou

Spring is coming! While we still have some weeks of winter ahead of us in Manitoba, to me, March always indicates that the spring is coming.

With Valentine’s Day and I Love to Read happening in February, this month offers us an opportunity to focus on love.

As we embrace the beginning of a new year, let’s reflect on some of our celebrations from 2023….

It seems like just yesterday we were starting the school year! Time has flown by here at Emerado! December has a special meaning as a time of year to reflect and celebrate family.

The boys’ soccer season started off on the rough side with a string of losses. However, the team was resilient. With each game and practice the boys improved in their positioning and skills.

It’s hard to believe that October is already here. You can feel that fall is in full swing – the weather is getting cooler and the rain is here! September has been a busy month of getting back into the school routine. We are also happy to see some new faces here at Emerado!

Welcome back to Emerado Centennial School! We are kicking off a great school year, with lots of learning and fun to look forward to!
