Obstacle Course Play Structure Donated to Emerado!!

Richard and Tara Suderman from Diamond Doors have spearheaded a project to install a fantastic obstacle course structure on the ECS schoolyard, just north of the staff parking lot. The ECS Parent Advisory Council and local businesses were involved in providing support to this project. Many thanks go out to:

Diamond Doors (obstacle course, rubber mats, swings, General Contractor)

Rede-Made Noodles (rope climbing tower)

P M Elias (excavator work and gravel)

Vantage Construction (concrete supplies and rebar)

Canadian Lumber (wood for perimeter and lumber for concrete forms)

Rite Way Rentals (construction fencing)

Solid Concrete Homes – Ernst Stein (concrete work)

Winkler Concrete (concrete)

Groundwork was started in October. Installation of the structure, swings, and rope climbing tower is expected to take place in the spring of 2020.

This obstacle course structure will be a fun feature for recess times, a great challenge for physical education classes, and an exciting play area for the community. We’re so grateful for the initiative and generous support of these local businesses and volunteers!
