Dear Emerado Centennial School Students,
The summer is quickly coming to an end. We hope that you have enjoyed great moments throughout the summer! We are looking forward to seeing you at Emerado this school year!
I’d like to provide information about the first day of school next week, Thursday, September 5th.
When you arrive at school at 8:30 am on the first day, Emerado staff members will be outside the school building to greet you. These adults will direct you to the west end of the school where classroom teachers will be gathering their students in their class groupings. Look for your homeroom teacher who will be holding a large sign with their name on it. Go to your teacher and join your new class! If you need help finding your homeroom teacher, ask any staff member for assistance. All staff members will be wearing name tags.
Following a brief outdoor assembly, all Emerado students will enter the school with their new homeroom classes. In the event of rain, teachers will be directing you where to go.
Throughout the first day, you will spend time in your homeroom classroom, getting acquainted with classmates, your teacher, your courses, and your schedule.
We’re looking forward to seeing you at Emerado Centennial School on Thursday, September 5th! This first day begins a new and exciting adventure at ECS!
